Mayor Berry Joins DEB-ABQ as a bus leader!

A few dozen lucky attendees will get to celebrate Albuquerque’s second annual Diner en Blanc on Mayor Richard Berry’s bus. Mayor Berry announced this morning that he will be a bus leader for the event on Thursday, August 27th.

The news is part of an exciting new partnership between Diner en Blanc and the City of Albuquerque. The city is now an official supporter of Diner en Blanc. It’s a collaboration that will boost both entities, in a joint effort to elevate Albuquerque’s profile as a city that truly has it all.

“It's unique events like these that bring us together to celebrate how great it is to live in Albuquerque,” the Mayor says. “I am pleased to support Diner en Blanc and I encourage all to participate.”

Attendees registering for Diner en Blanc will now have the option to ride Mayor Berry’s bus to and from the party’s secret location, and dine with him and fellow bus riders during the chic event. The Mayor’s bus will be leaving from the La Cueva High School pickup point.

“We are so thrilled to have the support of the Mayor and the City of Albuquerque,” says Cat Hanna, a Diner en Blanc co-host. “Their generosity in providing resources will help make Diner en Blanc even more incredible. We look forward to partnering with the city for years to come.”
